What Happens If You Just Ask?
Through a subtle process of spiraling dares, Eric, Kyle, and I ended up conveying our concerns about our company's apparent plans for intellectual property protection to upper management. Within an hour, we had an invitation to meet with them to discuss our concerns in greater detail. (Now we have to come up with greater detail.) I don't believe that our company's direction is going to change drastically based on anything we have to say, but we can't claim not to have been heard.
